Recoleta Cemetery
Last thursday fifth year went on a tour to the Recoleta Cemetery. This memorial park dates back to the 19th century and houses the burial sites of some of Argentina’s most important historic figures. On this tour, we explored the famous cemetery with a guide and learnt the secrets behind one of the world’s most impressive graveyards. Admired the grand mausoleums; visited Eva Perón’s grave; and hear stories of hauntings, curses, and gravediggers.
El jueves pasado, quinto año hizo una excursión al Cementerio de la Recoleta. Este parque conmemorativo se remonta al siglo XIX y alberga los lugares de entierro de algunas de las figuras históricas más importantes de Argentina. En esta excursión, exploramos el famoso cementerio con un guía y aprendimos los secretos detrás de uno de los cementerios más impresionantes del mundo. Admiramos los grandes mausoleos, visitamos la tumba de Eva Perón y escuchamos historias de apariciones, maldiciones y enterradores.
